Came across a dilapidated old farmhouse quite some time ago. Crawled in through a window and prowled around for quite awhile taking photos in the semi darkness. When I came to this stairway I half expected to see Anthony Perkins in drag wielding a butcher knife at the top. After much trepidation I climbed the stairs. I'll post the rest of the images in another thread.

It definitely was a spooky place with most of the windows boarded up there was not a lot of light in most of the rooms.

That is really creepy but very cool! How did you keep your camera steady with low light and shaking from fear? This gives a very hesitant but inviting feel! Can't wait to see the others.

I like how there is just enough light to give hints to the rest of the background areas. Very nice job!

I must say I hesitated a bit to go up those stairs partly for fear of falling through the floor and partly from watching too many horror movies as a youngster

The whole place was very creepy indeed. I can tell you I was indeed hesitant to climb the stairs but did so anyway. More to come.

Hah wait till you see the bathroom! This was taken at f/5.6 1/6 sec iso 3200 with Nikor 14-24 lens at 19mm. The SOOC image was very well exposed and showed almost all the stairs and walls but what I posted was more like how it looked to the naked eye.
