While I try to decide if I should upgrade to CS4, wait for the LR update to include the 7D, or break down and use the Canon software to convert my 7D RAW files, I thought I would throw a few people shots out there. I have others, but here are some of my favorites. I even have some short video so some day I may just make a 'fusion' :rofl
cmkultradome (Stephanie) and Don shoot sweet light after sunrise on Cadillac
Beth Parks likes what she sees at Thunder Hole Sunrise:
Scott contemplates:
as does Harry:
Davev tells Mark, Chuck and Liz another fish story:
Dave Porter:
Stephanie composes:
as does Kevin:
and DavidS85
Phyxius (Christina) takes a lesson from TonyD (some mumbo jumbo about Nikon flash system):
and we all take a lesson from Mark and Dave:
Davev (JPEG Dave) brings out the big gun for the whales:
and shares a fish story with Chuck:
and TonyD
Dixie
Mark and David
Snowgirl and RedLeash
JForbes:
Katev and TonyD
Everybody:
Gallery is set up for sharing, so help yourself.
Please add to the post. I know there is at least one photo of my hair on the boat - and I don't mind :rofl
The shots on the boat are 1dMkIIN and converted from RAW. The rest are unprocessed JPEGS from the 7D (well, I did do a curves and saturation change on one), minor cropping.

0k, so is this retaliation for the helium balloon... ?
BTW It was great meeting you and Kate!!!! I had an awesome time learning from everyone!
I'm hoping that vid doesn't see the light of day.
Nope, not for the balloon, just those shots of that old man trying to be me.
It was great meeting you also.
Next year I'll try to be nicer to you. (awww who am I kidding, that ain't going to happen)

Thanks so much for posting these! I've been raving to my family about the awesome time I had on the shootout and I keep throwing everyone's name around. Now I can show them some faces to go with the names.
Stephanie
These Shootouts wouldn't happen without your enthusiasm for them, or without some fellow Grinners helping take the lead: Ann, aktse, Nikolai, cabbey, and elmo, thank you for all your help. And, of course, we wouldn't be hoppin' without these fabulous pros: Dave, Marc, and Andy, thank you for everything you bring to these Shootouts. You make the experience invaluable, and so much fun!
