SOLD as of 11/11/2009

I just upgraded to a Canon 7D and new UDMA CF cards. It's time to part ways with my 40D. It is in excellent condition. Not a mark on the body or grip and it's been meticulously cared for. I've had screen protectors on the top and back LCDs since it came out of the box, on October 7, 2007.

For $700 (including PayPal fees and UPS Ground shipping to anywhere in the US) you get
- Canon 40D body (see note below)
- Canon EP-EX15 eyepiece extender
- BG-E2N grip
- 2 Canon BP-511A batteries
- 2 SanDisk Ultra II 2GB CF cards
- SmugMug strap
- charger, cables, manual, EOS utility CD

If I have to split up the sale, everything but the grip will be $580 and the grip with be $130, to account for separate shipping charges.

Unfortunately, my wife cleaned house and threw out most of my camera equipment boxes, so I do not have the box for the 40D, but I do have the box for the BG-E2N. VERY sorry about this as I am normally a fanatic about keeping all original packing materials. Regardless, I pack my shipments with extreme care and attention, so you have no worries.

Body notes
- I bought it new on October 9, 2007
- It has 15,736 actuations, according to the utility from http://astrojargon.net/40DShutterCount.aspx
- It has never given me the slightest problem

Check my entries on the feedback thread and you'll see I'm a trustworthy Grinner.

I really want to sell everything together in one shot. This is priced to move folks.

This has me so close to selling my Sony gear and switching to Canon. My big hesitation right now is the expense of new lenses. With the built-in image stabilization of my A700 all my lenses become IS. To get something similar on Canon is going to cost me big bucks.

But ohhh that high ISO noise-free goodness....

Gonna be a lot of 40Ds on the block..Just like you a lot of folks that had 40s and didn't buy 50s are now upgrading...smart aren't we.

I think I'll give my son my 40D for Christmas...cause I ain't gonna let it go for cheap...still a damn good camera.

    Good luck.:D

If I break it up, here's the offer:

Body + 2 batteries + charger and original accessories: $675
Grip with box and all original accessories: $130

Prices are slightly higher, since I need to ship separately.

    Thanks Pupator.

I don't have the Canon strap, but it comes with a much more comfortable SmugMug strap with it.
