Well, I got the computer back up and running, so now I can edit my photos the way I'd like again. This is just in time for this challenge, and as luck would have it, I have something blue.
Well, the title is simple...

Marry me.
For the record, she said, "yes!"
This is a one-off piece from a custom artisan. I took a day off work a few weeks ago and spend a few hours with the ring maker to hash out a design. I picked the sapphire because I felt it was very distinct, unique and stands out amongst the sea of diamond rings you see today. The setting is platinum while the rest of the ring is gold, hand forged. It took about three weeks to make, since he rushed for me... great customer service, very easy to talk to (... and he listened, unlike many jewlers I had talked to) and I will be doing future business with them. If you're in the Raleigh/Cary, NC area send me a PM and I'll give you the contact if interested.
Definitely put a hold on any future lenses for a while :deal
Thanks for looking, C&C is more than welcome.

Great entry--Great story--
Did you pick the blue stone for the challenge ?
Congratulations all around.
Even if it wasn't a great shot, you'd have to enter it just because it just adds to your story, but it's a sweet shot anyway.
All the best.:D

Just fyi.

Just added it, so it should be up and ready now.
Another question for the masses. Do I get extra street-cred for asking during the contest period?
