    Nice! Second one especially - good use of the computer screens. First one's okay - the genes look familiar, no?:D. - but it would be better looser - I want to see a touch more context.

    for me its the other way around, the first one really got that "something".
    his expression are interesting, concentrated. And that light...
    its the light that got me initially, i think it is lovely how it bounce of the face.
    nice exposure and dof.

    if i would pick on something it would maby be the hands,
    they dont add anything to the shot because we cant se what he is doing,
    half-cut as they are now it seem more a distraction, so maby crop them.
    Also maby crop just a bit from top, (the white part left and the litl right behind his head there grab too much attention i think)

    the second shot, for me, is uninteresting, and a bit "messy",
    i dont think the bright white work so well either.

    But again... that first one.... sweet stuff!
