This was is my first attempt at shooting aiplanes on an air show. The weather was getting progressively darker and cloudier which did't help. Despite this, we (me and my son) had a great fun. It's amazing being able to see (and hear) so many flying legends. Most of the pictures are heavily cropped.

Here are just a few pictures from my gallery:

Beauties and with the right amount of prop blur. Well done.

    Howdy Milan,

What a great series of images, always love seeing the Classic Warbirds, and the new Jets as well.

I agree about what a great job you did with them all, great sharpness and love the prop blur.
    Take care,

Thanks, I had to crop that one quite a bit.

Thanks for comment and looking. I tried to keep it at 1/250 or 1/200. The latter looks better. Fortunately the lens has IS which helped a lot.

I love classic warbirds too, the sound of the Rolls-Royce Merlin is amazing. And that Sabre is classic in my book too. BTW this one is apparently the only airworthy A version in the world.

    Thanks for comments and looking.
