This type of photography is not my strong suit but I believe your shots would benefit from a different background....something far less bright. What you're using masks the delicacy of the jewelry. It overwhelms it. I would suggest a much darker color as background. Someone who knows what they're talking about may chime in and be more helpful. I do like how you have staged the positioning.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
You are right, the white background seems a bit overwhelming in some of these shots.... I'll try with different backgrounds next time, actually I have already planned for different backdrops in my little box there, but didnt get the different colors in time for these shots.
