Couple of comments, take with a grain of salt:

First shot-- almost grabs me but it looks like she's checking out another camera.

Second shot-- better but just a personal thing, I feel like I'm seeing too much of the whites of her eyes.

Third shot-- great eye contact but the guy crouched with the camera behind her ruins the shot.

Fourth shot-- would have maybe tried a landscape/horizontal on this one

Fifth & sixth-- ruined by the makeup. I am well aware MUA's will go nuts if you let them. It rarely works. Check out the ads in Vogue-- they're almost always clean, elegant makeup. Art directors know what looks good.

i can comment a bit as well.
-yeah first shot is good, nice light and bg.
-second also nice, only thing that bothers a bit is the "stuff" behind her head,
if the line you got from the left would run all the way uninterrupted it would be a great shot.
    - i also like the third, i dont really mind the guy with the camera that much but agree it could been cleaner without him.

the rest dont do much for me and echo the comment about makeup.

    nice set of pictures!

Grain of salt taken quite well. Nothing I could do about the makeup. Asked the guy to move behind her....he didn't comply.

Some more than others.....but all of them seem to look a bit soft. (OOF) My favorite would be the 3rd one but yep, that dude with the cam fouls this one up. Are you on AF for these? If you're using your aperture for a small depth of field, concentrate on the eyes. Get them in focus and not much else will seem to matter. thumb.gif
