It's been fun seeing everyone's images from the Shootout.
Here are a few more of my efforts. Having a solid block of days to shoot landscape shots was such a blast, especially being able to share the experience with such a fantastic, enthusiastic, artistic group of photographers. This was my first Shootout. Can't wait for the next.

I feel like the last image is the one I went to Maine to take. I didn't know it before I got there Sunday morning, of course. But when I saw the rocks, waves and clouds coming together, sitting in the water and looking at the sunrise, I knew immediately that's where I was supposed to be.

I believe a more appropriate caption for #1 is "Missing man found frozen to top of Cadillac Mountain"

Great meeting you at the shootout. I really like #2 and #4. That small round boulder in #4 really adds something to the photo.
