From the last couple of weeks. Same juvenile individual from a nest in the area. Caught her hanging around with a parent yesterday (but no shots).

All with the 500/4.

Gene I looked at your images before I read the text........and I thought to myself I have no idea how you tell if they are males or females but this bird has got that real "Bitch Look" in it's eyes rolleyes1.gif wonder if it's a female :D

Your Big Bird shots are just awesome.........how big would a bird like this have in wing span? and when resting from head to toe how tall would it stand ? any idea ? thanks for sharing ..... I love you bird shots...... Skippy (Australia)

Gene your shots on top of being 1st rate, they give me inspiration as some others here do. In fact I was not going to go shot today (being lazy :D) but now I'm suiting up to go practice!

    Thanks for sharing.

Good lord above, where ever. That there is a BIRD, and you got it right. Showing it good, too, with the frames.

    I love hawks!

    Really good,

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

from another forum copied here ( without permission ) :

I am thinking about taking down the shingle and selling my equipment- it is just taking up too much of my time and I am feeling constrained by my equipment and thus my my budget.

So I have never sold anything online, say FM or eBay. How does one go about assuring that either party doesn't rip-off the other - i.e. how ids the handoff on the transction handled?

    Any insight would be appreciated.

    Gene
