trying out my 7D at the zoo

I went to the Brookfield zoo in Illinois yesterday...I feel kind of guilty posting wildlife pics from a zoo (fish in a barrel), but I really liked the high ISO results on a few of these. This was also my first try with the 7D, other than reading the manual...made a LOT of mistakes and missed lots of shots because of it (forgot to change from AI Servo...messed up my focus when recomposing, etc)...grrr. Live and learn!

my favorite...VERY dark in this area...1/20 handheld...ISO 3200 @ 200mm:

Canon 7D and some stuff that sticks on the end of it.

Good captures as you kept the man made elements out of the pics (except for last image, of course :D ).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
