Sunrise at Avalon Pier

Good Day to all, I'm attaching 3 files from a series of 3 shot HDR's in a series from a recent sunrise at the Avalon fishing pier. I'm curious as to others thoughts on these shots and which seems to be the better of the 3. The remainder of the series is in a landscape and scenic folder of my site. I truly appreciate all thoughts and critiques.

I think #1 tells the best story, but #3 wins for me because I dig more abstract, simple compositions.

Thanks Schmoo for the thoughts. I see your point and agree. As far as getting up to take the shot, we all know, you get out of it what you put into it, right??
