Chisel Nose

I don't know the correct name of this insect, but they use their nose to cut holes in trees, then they eat their way through the inside of the tree. The tree usually dies.

Found this one on the ground an had to place him upside down to get a shot of the nose.

Tried a little "auto" levels and usm for PP.

Thank you, for the comment. They have killed a couple orange trees in my garden. Not my favorite insect.
