Mapping gurus!!! I mapped a photo the other day. http://www.winsomeworks.com/Travel/Asbury-Park-New-Jersey/9585019_tYMQr#645217536_KGfyy As you can see, it remains mapped, if you're in that gallery. However, why doesn't it show up on my site-wide map (found on my homepage or the "Find Pix(Map)" tab? I already learned from Allen that there's a limit to how many will show. Anyone know what the limit is? 42 would seem like a pretty low limit (yes, I know it's the answer to life, the universe & everything :D, but...)

I've wondered if my varied map troubles lately could be related to one of the following: 1. the recent upgrade or 2. the thing about CNAMES which I really couldn't follow & don't know if I need to change something :confused or 3. my messing with creating a blog & matching it w/ my Smug site. ????

Bump. I saw yesterday in another thread that 150 is the upper limit?? So with only 42 mapped photos, the limit was not my problem. Any ideas, anyone?

I'm having a similar yet opposite problem. I'm getting pushpins showing up for photos that no longer exist in any gallery.

For anyone who was following this thread (even though it seemed a little lonely :cry) I have found an answer to my problem of a geotagged photo not showing up on my map. clap.gif As quoted from Skippermark on this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=147905 "...Okay, I emailed support and got a very helpful note back saying there's an issue where, if you don't have a caption on a photo, the geocode info may not show. I added some text, and it displayed correctly right away..."

I went back & checked my own gallery, & sure enough, the problem photo was one that had no caption. As soon as I captioned it, it showed up right away! Now, would there be somewhere you site gurus could put this info. so that people see it when they first learn about mapping? Thank you, Skippermark & whoever provided him with the answer! I simply had no idea why that photo wouldn't map. bowdown.gif Yipppeee! ETA: Gee, guess I should have been smart enough to email support! Word to the wise...
