I mentioned in my last post that I returned to the Beckler and North Fork Skykomish River Valleys the following day to capture the fall color that's really popping out. A lot of portrait compositions. Hmm...
1. Fall color reflections on the Beckler River
2. Fire Water
3.
4. Vine Maple
5. Yet more...
6. Rapid River
7. More Vine Maple
8. Canopy of Fall above Forest Service Road 63
9. North Fork Skykomish River
10. North Fork Skykomish River
11. North Fork Skykomish River
12. Forest Mist
If that wasn't good enough for me, I also got about a half dozen nice photos of a Dipper splashing around in the river. I'll be posting those over in the Wildlife forum.
Thanks for looking...

These are a lot of fun, I'm just loving shooting this time of year. It seems more colorful than usual. I'll have to post some shots of NW colors later this evening. Around here you gotta grab all the Fall color you can get.
My favorites are no 2, 3, 4, and 12. When I initially saw the first few I thought you has some time exposures of spawning salmon. I like the contrast of No. 4.

My favorite is the abstract #2, but there are some great colors in this series.

Thanks Ron! I feel that I've had a pretty good year of shooting so it makes it a lot easier to go out each week. I think I also benefitted from no set agenda. On a couple outings, I felt some mild anxiety to "get the shots" at some locations because they were limited opportunities. Here, I just pulled over whenever and just poked around. Very freeing!
