It's been so wet here this fall that I'm not sure if the leaves are going to have a lot of color. My Silver Leaf Maple is trying to do it's part though.

(Note: about 5 billion of these will/are falling in my pool ~ arrg...)

I really like this. Great colors and composition.

What is the leaf sitting in with that greenish coloring?

Very pretty. I could almost swear that leaf was made of metal. And it goes nicely with the green background.

    Thanks rainbow,

That's my back patio. The concrete is painted green & it's water from the rain that was falling while shooting it.

very nice colors - I thought you may have just adjusted the color of the concrete in post. Is it an epoxy or just painted ?

I think it's just paint. Was like that when I bought the house. I wish I was that good in PS. :D

    Randy,

    Nice shot of the leaf.

I hear you about the pool. I once filled in a pool I had. I couldn't just drain the water, as in Florida, with it's high water table, the pool would just float out of the ground. I had it filled half way with rocks and dirt and created a spectacular sunken garden filled with exotic plants. It was quite a yard feature and put an end to my pool miseries.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I'm guessing you have an extra room for me to stay in? rolleyes1.gif

And, that 85L is going back. It has issues that I don't want to deal with.

It was a used copy and has a very bad back-focus issue. I had to dial-in (-20) on my 5D2 to get it right. That meant I couldn't use it on my other bodies though. I purchased from a large reputable company, so the return should not be an issue.

I don't know if this is the case with all copies of this famous lens, but I did some tripod testing between this 85 1.2L & my 85 1.8. Strange enough, my 1.8 is sharper (when both lenses were focused correctly) and has better color than the 1.2L. This just doesn't seem right to me, so I'm just chalking it up to a really bad copy of the 1.2L.

But, I may now be happy with my 1.8 after all.

rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif I feel your pain Randy. I once owned a 36' Sailboat. The second happiest day of my life was the day I bought it. Don't need to tell you what the happiest day was. :D

Like I stated earlier, after all this rain, my pool almost does look like that ~ "Throw some more money in there..." :cry
