dive buddy
Hello to all,
While on a dive trip to Bonaire by myself to only thing wanting to buddy up for a dive was this 5 ft baracuda named by the locals as spike!
He made most of the dives with me, especially at night. He would be at the dock waiting impatiently. I would don my gear and he would pace back and forth like an anxious pup. once in the water he would take advantage of the dive light illuminating bait fish.
This photograph was taken with an 18 mm lense on a sea and sea motormarine camera. Distance was about 10 ft away . Brings back great memories.

I remember from my diving days (over 15 years ago) how barracudas in the Florida Keys would come to you begging for food. They would stare you in the face, a few feet away and then leave when you did not offer anything (not that I would). Scary for some, not for me as I knew better.
Nikon D700, D300, D80 and assorted glass, old and new.
