As I walked into the woods I had a sensory overload as I tried to take in the explosion of color and to smell the air and leaves! I hope to go again so that I can be a bit more prepared for what I see and try to do the beauty justice!

Simply beautiful Eia!!!! We do not have colors like that here. We normally have nice colors also, but this year seems to be different. We had a very abnormal cold/freezing period at the beginning of Oct. Now we are back to normal with the temps, but I am wondering if it affected all of the Fall colors.

    Thanks for sharing yours!

wow! spectacular! we get some nice colors here, but not like that, and most of the really colorful trees in the lowlands here are ornamentals that are not native to the region... :cry

Nice job! I love #1, #3, #4 - but there's a tiny bit of vignetting (or woolly glove?) in the top LH corner of #2…

    Lovely colours!

    Thanks for sharing thumb.gif

Thanks for the comment. I was waiting and waiting and wondered if the leaves were going to fall off before they turned because there was so much cold weather early in October like you said. I think there usually is more color but this sufficed!:D

No, I did not use any filters but thought about buying a color one for autumn. I took an nd grad and tried it a few times but it didn't do justice; the trees made a canopy and hid most of the sky anyway. Thanks for your very kind remarks. I bet your area is just as beautiful! :D

The fragrance and sounds of the silence and leaves were amazing. Tons of deer too but I was more into the leaves! :D Thanks for the kind comment.
