I bought this in May to take to Europe as part of my D700 kit. It squeaked out of the box, but I sent it back to Nikon and it has worked perfectly ever since.
I had a blast and got some great pictures. It's probably my favorite lens, and it pains me to sell it, but it's just too big and too heavy for a travel lens (note to readers: a D700-based travel kit is way too big and heavy for travel, trust me). I've decided to sell this, downgrade to a lighter travel kit and hope that Nikon releases an f/4 WA zoom that won't break my back when used with the D700.
I'm asking $1550 for this, with that last $50 going toward helping out with the Paypal fee and insurance on shipping (I prefer to insure expensive equipment). Continental US only please, and when I get the tracking number I'll send it to you.
