Harlequin ladybirds

Seem to be getting my normal outbreak of Autumn harlequin ladybirds. The last shots are a harlequin ladybird pupa that often move into an upright position but clamp down if disturbed. Assume this is some form of temperature regulation.

Thanks David
Forgot to mention #2 is what you get if you focus stack a ladybird shot with a high mag shot of an autumn leaf (just playing).

It is best to number pictures when posting more than three, for easier reference.
Nikon D700, D300, D80 and assorted glass, old and new.
