Harlequin ladybirds

Seem to be getting my normal outbreak of Autumn harlequin ladybirds. The last shots are a harlequin ladybird pupa that often move into an upright position but clamp down if disturbed. Assume this is some form of temperature regulation.

Forgot to mention #2 is what you get if you focus stack a ladybird shot with a high mag shot of an autumn leaf (just playing).
