I like the contrast between the bright yellow and the dark green of the background. And it looks like the light is soft and the exposure is accurate, which can be difficult with brightly colored, reflective flowers. The petals retain their texture, for example, which is something I often miss with flowers.
I have to admit the composition doesn't do much for me. I think I'd like to see it either a little wider, so you can see that the flower is really a part of that dark green environment, or a little closer to show more of the flower's detail -- maybe just close enough so you don't see the bright patch of leaves in the lower left.
A square crop of this image might be an interesting way to get closer (or at least appear to).
agree with above, would have been better completly filling frame with flower,
doesnt look very sharp, try using manual focus so the stamens are sharp
