One chance to shoot night football
I haven't shot night footbal at all this year (and it shows).
My daughter's boyfriend plays JV and finally got a chance to play (last game). I volunteered for pics, just to play. It started in the rain, ended with a light sprinkle, and I brought the flash out pretty quick...
1) BF as slot receiver
2)
3) BF as running back. He did well, 89 yds on 9 carries
4) Coming atcha
5). As soon as I pulled the monopod to it's fill length, a mom from the team with a Canon something or other and a 70-300 5.6 max comes over a first words were "My pictures are blurry, tell me how to fix 'em" I told her to go watch the game, ISO 1600 and 5.6 is not going to cut it. She followed me around, wanting to chimp my pics... Very nice lady, actually!
