Spider after the rain showers

Here is a spiderling, about ½inch long sat on top of the bird table in the garden soaking up the sun after it she was caught in a quick shower of rain.

I have to assume, like all insects and arachnids, that rain is major threat to their existence, and they need to dry off quickly after getting wet.

This is in a patch of sunlight which I thought might increase the heat in the water droplets but she seemed happy enough to there, although it was for only a few seconds before heading underneath the wood.

C&C as always encouraged.
