Right click protection when logged in

I apologize if this has been asked in the past, but is there an option to have a gallery's right click protection disabled for the owner when they are logged in? It seems somewhat counter intuitive to have right click protection against the owner. I know a few other photo hosting sites have this option, so it would be great to see smugmug have this as well. Thanks.

    Sorry, it's not possible on SmugMug.
    What other sites have this, curious?

    I know Fotki does for sure, one of the others escapes me...pbase possibly? Anyway, it's not a huge issue as I can easily turn it on and off if I need to post images in forums. But it was convenient to be able to do it anytime I was logged in, yet have them (somewhat) protected.

    You can show the Share button only when logged in and use that to get image URLs. To do so, enable Easy Sharing in the gallery options, then add this line of CSS to hide the share button when not logged in:

    .notLoggedIn #shareButton {display:none;}

    This is a feature I really really miss coming from a customized gallery installation. In gallery when I was logged in I could bypass the watermark and hotlink protection.

    I'm a little confused by your statement.

    John has provided the CSS to allow you to use the Share feature when you are logged in while still blocking it from your viewers. And if you want to grab a copy of the photo while you're logged in, why not use Owner Save? The watermark is only on the display copies, and Owner Save downloads the original (not watermarked) photo.
