Old Farm Photoshoot
John and I decided that we wanted to go to this old farm where a friend of his lives and take some photos to practice lighting. Were still getting the hang of it but heres what I came up with.
1. The redness here comes actually from her cheeks, it was pretty chilly out!
2.
3. I thought this looked a little creepy just sitting together. Kids boots and a trap.
4. Then we setup in the stairs of this old basement, heres us setting up and lovely Shasta as our model.
5.
6.
7. Shasta snapped this one actually and I really liked it. So we put it up.
8. She also snapped this and liked this picture of me.
9. Then we went into a huge garage and snapped some photo's. Were still getting the hang of it. This is before I got her to take my big poof jacket off.
10. Shasta in motion
11. Johns on the case!
12. A pano picture of the giant Garage we were working in. It was a cool place. John is trying to get Tracy to lean in and kiss him with her hands behind her back but it had difficulties...

Among others, I quite like #10 and #11. That shot of John (#11) cracks me up #8 is actually pretty awesome, too!
That garage seems like a nice place to change in to a studio

That was our thought too. You can see the garage doors at either end... there's THREE of these rooms in a line in this building! I'm a bit jealous that it's not mine.

Here's Shasta hanging out over Cottonwood Creek.
Shasta's feet...
One of the points of this shoot was to try out my new umbrella and balance some flash with daylight. Kinda figuring it out I think, but there's miles yet to go!
Shasta huddles in a dusty stairwell.
While Tracy has a completely different view on the situation!
Kelsey tried on my hat and coat for a couple of shots for me.
And we'll wrap it up on a lighter note!
Enjoy!

I like Shastas feet, Tracy twirling and the Sepia in the stairwell shot!
