Los Angeles Day of the Dead/Dia De Muertos.

This is an annual event near the end of October, celebrating a Hispanic (may be Mexican only) tradition of honoring the dead.

At the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, various altars are decorated and many don make up. It's more of a festival now so there are numerous souvenir stands, food courts, and entertainment and less cultural.

The LAShooters decided to go out for a shootout.

    These are all cool shots, but #4, the drag queen is really good. The motion blur makes it really stand out.

    Thanks Wendell, I took a few shot of her/him and it seems like just a simple sideways movement of the camera provided the best blur.

    Thank you Awais. Yes, plenty of photo ops were to be had. Actually, a buddy and I were commenting that most had dslr vs digicams.
