I'm going to Charleston, South Carolina soon. Can anyone recommend some "photo spots"?

well the plantations have great places to shoot especially magnolia plantation, though I personally haven't gotten there yet. of course there's downtown. I love the old navy base/ riverfront park, folly beach over by the lighthouse is cool too. I too am looking for new places that are fairly easy and free to get to.

I've been to Charleston a few times and there is lots to shoot. Head down to East Bay Street, Market Street or Broad Street for architectural and people photo's. Waterfront park is a good place to visit as well. You can also visit USS Yorktown across the bay. Here are some that I took to give you a few ideas. I would recommend to visit a plantation if you have time.
