Been away camping for a week not too long ago up the mid coast of Australia. I found myself shooting 250 photos every morning which was over the top really cos they were all pretty much the same... I've posted some of my better shots from the week below.

For this last picture we got up at 4 and were on the beach by 4:30 (the sun doesn't rise until 6:10) so we were there well before astronomical twilight. I wanted to try taking some photos of the stars etc. I don't know how to get clear pictures of the stars and in this case the moon as well. With the moon rising so fast, and the movement of the earth, the stars are not too clear. Any tips please!!

As for stars at sunrise, that could be hard. I'd imagine that you might need a split gradated ND filter or something to keep the incoming light balanced with the dimmer light of the stars.
Photos that don't suck / 365 / Film & Lomography
I will have to look into it. However, that doesn't stop my problem of the stars moving creating blurry lines instead of twinkling dots..
