Thanks for the replies, the Gorge is indeed amazing. I was lucky to get it during peak fall color, I'll try and do that again next year, maybe this time immediately after the rain instead of during it! lol3.gif

Very nice. They are all good but I like #1,3,4,5 the best. I was there about 3 weeks ago but didn't see the color you did.

    Thanks!

How's a guy in Seattle going to get the 10 degree temperatures and constant snow cover near sea-level all throughout winter? Wait - I don't want that. :D

I know I'm lucky to live here, so I try and take advantage of it. I might make a return visit to the gorge when there's a little snow fall if I can time it right.

All I can say is WOW...These shots are amazing!! bowdown.gif I absolutely love #4 with the falls running right behind the bridge; how lucky for you that no one decided to be an early bird like yourself! :D I also love #8 - can just feel how peaceful and serene the Punchbowl must be!

    Thanks for sharing!

Incredible! 1,3,4 my favs. The leaf placement in 1 really adds to the depth of the photo. You really captured Multnomah Falls in a special way.

Thanks again for the comments everyone. Just so it's clear - this post (and these photos) were from last year at this time. I actually visited the Columbia Gorge today too - the colors are still 1 week away (at least) from peaking.
