SmugMug to Animoto

I've created several Animoto clips via the Buy Animoto video link on various smugmug galleries and have a HUGE problem now

Everytime I export to Animoto via this Buy link it appears to take ALL photos from all previous galleries i've used to make a video

Now I can't add my photos as it adds the previously used ones first.

I've tried deleting them all in Animoto and then re-trying the Buy link but no go.

Thanks for a quick fix so I can get cracking on more Animoto videos

or then again - maybe the problem lies on Animoto's side???

Cheers
Jase

---- update ----

ok - by deleting everything in the project on animoto and then adding one text item and then selecting music and then going back to the photos selection...
this seemed to reset the default animoto smugmug project and i was able to re-import again
but seems there may be some bug on animoto side that's forgetting to reset which gallery to import when doing the smugmug import and it's grabbing the previous ones aswell

I have started an import for one video now. I will need to let it render before starting the next one to see if it does what you are saying. I will let you know as soon as I get done.

fyi Animoto are also looking at it:
    Hi Jason,
Whenever you log into your Animoto account, can you go to "Create Video"? Once there, does a banner drop down with the option to "ditch this project"?

If you select that, it will forget previous projects. In the meantime, we'll get this sent to our tech guys' attentions so that it starts a new, fresh project in the future!

Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments - we're always happy to help.

    Take care,
    the team at ANIMOTO

btw I didn't see the ditch this project when exporting via the menu from smugmug - something was definitely weird...

It is kind of odd. I am not seeing the photos from the earlier project. But I was limited to 300 photos the first project. I finished it and started a new project. I was limited to 250 photos this time. The first project had I think around 59 photos. So the count did not reset. I will need to dig on that some to see what is going on. It does look to be on Animotos side as far as I can tell. Be sure to let us know what they say. thumb.gif

The said they're looking at it and if i hear back for sure i will let you know here

Andy said to use either email or dgrin - my mistake - will use dgrin where it's not my domain specific and others can likely benefit from the answer too

cheers, or rather "talk" soon ;)

    Jason,

Check the quality on this one: http://www.docwalkersphotography.com/Portfolio/Flower-Portfolio

I did export the video using the High Resolution option and then uploaded it to my account. I think it looks pretty good.

I tried the regular version on a private gallery that I cannot show and it also looked fine.

    Hi Jason,

Just so I'm understanding correctly, it retrieves the images from the previous gallery you were working on, and not the one you're currently trying to make an Animoto vid with? I'll be looking into this and making sure this is something we're actively trying to figure out.
