Took the kiddo's out to get closer the action, they have been training all week and there flight plan happened to go right over my house. All shot handheld with my cheapie sig 70-300. I have a bunch to go through.. but this one came out ok i thought :dunno
Randy - they were at Alliance Airport this past weekend, I watched them all fly out yesterday evening (sunday was the last day) :cry
here are a couple more.. the lighter ones were shot from my front porch on wed/thurs when it was very cloudy (drab sky). Not as sharp .. but keepers i suppose.
arrghhh.. just missed framing it :bash
Playing with the post on this one...
Hope by the next show I will have a better lens for these types of shots..
For fat Albert or any props, shoot 250th of second or slower... the frozen props lack feeling and make the aircraft look like a model. More prop blur would be needed.
I do like the shots very much. We all stop props until someone slaps us... I did it and you will not any longer. Looking forward to seeing more shots. Really, Nice job.

I was wondering if anyone would comment on the props, I thought the same thing (they needed some blur) but ignored my instinct. Many thanks for the 'slap' - and thanks for the nice 'props' as well.
