Here are a few more I have processed. Appreciate any C&C. Sorry for the watermarks--I forgot to take them off before I posted.

Thanks,
Lauren

1. Our first outing with Marc and Dave, atop Cadillac Mountain at sunset.

2. The same outing--I tried to process this more like a dreamy silhouette. Not sure I like it. Thoughts?

3. Same outing--single image processed twice in ACR for sky and foreground, then blended. Looks like my attempt to remove the middle grass sprig failed. I'll wait for further C&C before I redo that.

4. This gull stood in the road for the longest time, stopping traffic and being friendly.

Thanks, Ron and Beth! I think the first is my favorite--and it makes a nice memory from the trip.

Ron, I hope you can make the next Shootout--I highly recommend it for the fun as well as the photography. And the chance to talk to the pros was unbeatable!!

The first one was my favorite also.

I think everyone had a great time and learned a lot from the pro's.

I sure wish Andy, Dave and Marc would show the shots that they made at the same time we were shooting. I think we could learn a lot. I know I could.

    Great stuff, Lauren! thumb.gif

I love seeing shots that show the other photographers like this. It really gives you a good feel for the scene.

Nice stuff Lauren, I like #3 for the color in the bushes and Otter Cove is the background.

Thanks, Peter. I'm glad you told me about Otter Cove, so I can put it in my notes. I didn't do the best job of annotating my locations on this trip.

Beautiful shot, Marc! I just love the dynamic skies in this image.

Yes, let's see some work from Dave and Andy . . .
