Thank you both, so much. This was before the wedding and he was bright and energetic, but one of the most thoughtful, zen children I've ever met. He had this knowing little smile. I was intrigued.
D'Buggs, we were shooting the flower girls and this little ring-bearer in a bay window while the bride was grabbing a bite to eat before getting dressed. The girls were hamming it up quite nicely! He snuck away to one of the side seats for a moment of peace, and I liked his expression, so I went for him. He was captured with a 7D and a 50mm f/1.2 at 1/80s, f/2.2, ISO 1600. No flash.
I can see why he'd need a moment!
Meanwhile the girls continued to offer up wonderful silliness to the camera.
Hard to believe they were quite shy earlier at the salon!
