Is there an uploaing glitch tonight?

I use the Picasa uploader - usually works flawlessly.

Tonight, after quite a long upload, it's telling me that "Success! All 0 of your files have been uploaded"... and sure enough, nada. I've tried uploading in smaller batches, and it's still not working, even if I only try to upload ONE photo. It gives up when the Picasa status bar is about 1/2-2/3 of the way through the process.

Your end or mine? Thanks for any info ....

PS Windows Vista+FF user. Never had a problem with it before (have been using this combo for about a year)

ETA: Have been reading the SM helpfile and looked at my log. No uploads for today appear at all (presumably because they didn't complete sucessfully, but there isn't anything logged in the error file either). Yes, I've rebooted and still... nada. SM page is divamum.smugmug.com. Tx!

Hi, no uploading glitch last night. Are your files under 24mb, under 48 megapixels, and JPGs in sRGB Colorspace? ear.gif

All files are 1-3mb, sRGB and ~3400mp on longest side (shot on an xsi, edited in LR and jpgs exported at about 90 on the "quality" scale).

    Ideas? Thanks....

ETA: I just successfully uploaded ONE picture... but it took about 3 minutes (!!???). Everything else on the net is moving at normal speed, and no competing uploads/downloads to slow it down. This is really weird.

ETA: tried uploading 5 at once to see what would happen.... won't upload. Sigh.

    Hi Andy,

She is not alone. I have noticed the same thing since about the same time. I'm using the ApertureToSmugmug plug-in and getting no errors. I tried that a few times (after success over the weekend with over 100 images), then tried uploading through Safari which appeared to succeed, but the image is still not in my gallery.

The image I can't upload (haven't tried any others since) is a JPG, 12Mb in sRGB.

I'll do as you suggested, contact the Support Heroes. Just wanted to note that it might not be isolated.
