Here is one of my (least) favourite insects - insomuch as I don't particularly like to pick them up or even touch them, but woodlice are kinda photogenic on the whole.
Housebrick journey here, pickin a route through the tiny mosses and such on it's way to who knows where.

When I take the lid off - a million tiny flies take off, a thousand slugs slither, and thousands of worms are hanging from the lid!
I don't fancy digging through the rotting bits in the bottom....
Oh, and it stinks!
