I decided to work with Isabelle again on this one as I knew
she could pull it off. We worked on this last Sat. The shoot took
us about 3 hours in total. The room was about 35 degrees F and every
20 frames or so we had to get her close to the propane heater to warm up.
I shot a ton of frames and havent had much time to go thru them yet.

This was one from the beginning of the shoot. As always feel free to
let me know what you think.

Amazing location but not getting this at all. That's just me dude, nothing to get worked-up over. I'm usually the first one to NEVER say anything like "it just doesn't make sense to me" but this one's a bit hard to grasp. Like I said, just an opinion. thumb.gif

I like the photo but I don't "get" the title. headscratch.gif
I read the photo as something TOTALLY different. Something that I'm not sure is fitting on this forum, but I'll say it anyway.

What I take from it is; drugs and associated places of use, coupled with a mishap... ne_nau.gif
Hopefully that's PC enough that I don't get bashed. :D

The image is strong IMO (read: I like) but wonder about her arms crossed like that (?)..... I'm definitely wanting to see more of this shoot and appreciate the complexities of it. thumb.gif
Overall, I *think* she needs to be made more vulnerable, unless, of course,,,, she was actually baking a cake. rolleyes1.gif

    Dave,
    it's an "interesting" image...
But, just like prior commenters, I don't "get" it :hide.
So it's difficult to provide an extended commenting on whether the lighting, pose or props/environment work or not...ne_nau.gif

Hey guys, no worries about getting it or not..It is what it is. I simply wanted to work with a completely different look than what I have previously been able to shoot at this location. I knew I wanted a white look in contrast with the wall and surroundings..So I used flour to achieve it.

As far as story well I know for sure that any given photo can be read various amount of ways pending the viewer.

    Cheers

I looked at this photo yesterday, and saw no comments, I was going to comment on not getting it but I figured some one would get it and comment... apparently not...

I like the location, the colors are great, the light is awesome, the model gorgeous... but the flour... I don't get it... I even like the tilted view... flour...

    Thanks for sharing...

Hmmm, thats an interesting take on the arm position...One that I wouldnt of thought. Thats the beauty of posting it in a place like this. There is always a completely different view from someone else.

    Cheers

I like it, flour included. It's got a great location, sweet lighting and a model that appears to know what you wanted to capture. Really nice image all around.

I don't care about 'getting it'
I like the shot for what it is... artistic! Great work.

What I don't get is why the studio had to be 35 degrees. Did it affect the adhesion of the flour, or are you a sadist?:D
