They aren't usually so quiet and placid, so I took the opportunity to get as close as possible without spooking it. Still needs some PP work and I think the colours could be brought out slightly more although I'm not sure how.
C&C appreciated and welcomed,
Jay.

Overall you have a nice shot here. There is some motion blur with the head and ears, you must have caught him in mid "flick" Never underestimate PP, there is a lot to work with here. I hope you don't mind but I reworked it a bit so you can see what can be done.
Here is what I did...
*Slight shadow and highlight adjustment
*unshapen mask
*Adjusted saturation
*used dodge tool to bring out the eyes some more
*used burn tool to darken background a bit (helps make the subject pop)
Keep them coming!!
Forgot to say, Mark, I do think your processing did it well!
Thanks for criticism and PP. Much appreciated. Guess I should play around with Photoshop and Lightroom more over the Christmas season to get to grips with it more and attempt to produce some better results
