Rough life for an old Coon

I had this old girl in my yard today and when I edited the pic I noticed that she had a few porky quils sticking out of her muzzle. It also appeared that something bit off the top of her left year.

    yeah, they have a hard life. Looks like his right (our left) has some damage as well

    Poor thing! She/he looks pretty old too. I don't know how long they live.
    I had an ill/old possum out front last week. I had to leave for a trip in a hurry, so I just put some food out for it and left. 3 days later it died out front. Poor thing. Nature can be cruel.
