I was not able to take part of the shootout this year due to work and finances, but because I live in Bar Harbor I was able to catch up with the group on top of Cadilac Mountain. This provided me with an interesting oppertunity... I greatly appreciated the talk given by Marc and Dave, just before the meeting on Cadilac I had hiked in to find some brooks I know exist in the gorge between Cadilac and Dorr Mountains after a good rain. The following day I returned to the same location armed with the invaluable knowledge gained from the gurus onto of the mountain and re-shot my work from the day before. I had read that the sweet spot for apeture being somewhere between f11 and f16 before but it never really set in untill I listened to Marc explain it, and I think the diference is noticable even on a monitor. Thanks for looking, and a special thanks to Marc and Dave for the lecture.
