Plumas county in the fall
Last weekend I decided to take advantage of the remaining good weather and ride up to visit
my Brother and his family in Greenville.
Leaving the valley
After a rather boring ride up the valley through Marysville and Oroville the fun began as I
climbed up to the Plumas National forest and began riding through Feather river canyon.
There was some beautiful scenery.

Fall was definetly in the air and I saw some wonderful colors along the way.

In spite of my frequent stops to enjoy the scenery , stretch my legs and take pictures, by
lunch time I had made it all the up to the town of Greenville.

That night my Brother and I took my nephew to a halloween carnival.
Aaargh, Who knew, Greenville had Pirates?
The next day we headed down to Indian Falls.

That afternoon we joined the folks at the Dawn House for some apple picking and squeezing to
make delicious apple cider. There was a bluegras band, wonderful food and great people. A
really fun event.

Then it was time for me to head back down to the valley, though I made plenty of stops along
the way to admire the view.

Another fun trip.

and I tried going up a couple years ago, but it was a little earlyier so I missed most of the deeper reds and oranges, this year I think I timed it a little better.
