Custom Domain?

To have my own domain, do i need to pay for hosting? Or do I only need to register the name... and you guys basically park my smugmug on that domain since all the pics are on your servers I would think i didnt need hosting?

    There is domain hosting and web hosting. Someone needs to host the domain so you do need that part. You do not need web hosting unless you are planning on having pages that are not stored on SmugMug.

    GoDaddy is one of the better hosts that I work with. We have a reseller account with them if you want to use it. smugmugdomain.com the advantage is that the smugmugdomains account sets up the CNAME and A records for you. Other than that, it is identical to a regular GoDaddy account.
