Move to Multiple Galleries Tool?

I assume the Move to Muliple Galleries tool deletes the photo from the source gallery? Since we don't have a Copy to Multiple Galleries tool (wish we did!), is there any way to retain the original in the source gallery?

You will have to make a 2nd copy and move it.

You guys don't really want us to allow you to bulk make copies of photos and have them in many galleries - when we already allow unlimited photo storage. That would waste $

I expect that our in-development virtual galleries feature will eliminate the need to waste storage on multiple copies of the same photo.

My moved 2nd copies have a different caption and geo data added. The
original no geo data and different caption. Also keywords maybe only on
one of them.

We don't expect you to help us waste $. We do expect you to help us solve our problems. And, if there's no other way to solve our problems, we will resort to duplicate images.

Right now, I'm uploading multiple copies of images because you won't let me use keywords in a group of galleries in a category that are all password protected. The images need to be password protected, but I want to show the same set of soccer season images by game, by player and by highlights (a subset of the images). I'm worried that virtual galleries isn't going to solve that for me because I have to use passwords.

Hi, Andy.

No, we don't want to waste storage or $$$ for sure and virtual galleries will be great. If adding photos to virtual galleries will include option to keep or replace captions, keywords, geo, passwords, etc., that would solve the question of different info in different galleries.
