I like these shots, Jennifer. I'm not sure which one does more for me but I think I'm leaning towards the simplicity in number one. There is a sense of silliness that I believe the store-owner in number one shares with me. thumb.gif

#2 for me, as you catch the barter in action, and notice the man holding the baby back there...

I love the scratching of the back. Little thing that adds to the whole.

I think #2 is better balanced; there's less outside the main area of attention. #1 seems to be divided into vertical sections; stuff to the left of the scratcher, and stuff to her right. By moving her slightly to the left, the outside stuff is now ignored.

    Great picture though…

Thanks for the feedback guys. Wil, I feel similarly to you on the first, the subjects are slightly too centred for my preferences. But the back scratch is just so compelling. And I didn't even think of the PJ aspect other than the obvious. rolleyes1.gif

Me too...number two...not really keen on the facial expression of the vendor in 2...but like others have said, the composition is much better.

    Thanks for sharing.

Great dramatic color. More going on in #2.
    If not now, when?
