I don't normally post in this forum since I don't' normally shoot "wildlife". But I came home yesterday and my fiance was mowing the lawn and informed me that he found at least 4 dead rats in my yard. They weren't chewed up and bloody, but we're pretty sure my dog killed them. The four he found were still babies, since the rats around here are usually MUCH MUCH bigger. The funny part though is my fiance' put all the dead rats on the patio because he thought I'd want to photograph them... since I seem to photograph everything! lol.. so why not! :) Wasn't sure which category it fit into, but wildlife seems appropriate! LOL

After I took the picture of the four young dead rats, we found a much larger carcass in the grass.. all that was left was fur, bones, and liquid... GROSS!

She's a lab/pitt mix. The vet thinks there might be a hint of something else in there too... due to the bronzing of her fur near her hips and behind her arms... but she is pretty awesome, whatever she is! :) And yes she good at killing rats, and even the occasional skunk! Laughing.gif...

Her yellow eyes, and the wrinkles under her chin are very "pitt" like... plus her muscles are very strong and lean like the pitt. As a puppy she loved to chew everything, trying to develop those strong jaw muscles too... she's great at tug-o-war! lol... She also has the short hair like a pitt. But then for the lab she has more of the facial structure, the cute ears, webbed feet, etc. She's about 55 pounds and everyone seems to think she's a lab puppy because of her size. Here's another picture of her from a while ago:

And if you want to see her whole body... here ya go:
