Cannot rename subcategories

I'm trying to rename this subcategory;

I go to control panel, customize, subcategories, 'rename a subcategory', click sports as the parent category, click pick a subcategory, but nothing somes up. Never had this problem before. Could it be related this this issue;

I shot the tourney today, and I need to know if i can rename the title ASAP, so I can start uploading overnight.
