Some Halloween portraits

I am not a big portrait guy and don't practice it (also have zilch for lighting gear). Anyway, took photo's of my daughter and nieces at the yearly halloween party. C&C if you wish, I was posting as I did try to pose the girls and get them to pose with their ideas also.

    For the most part, a lot of the poses work. The kill-joy, though, is BG (spears passing through heads/bodies), lighting ('coon eyes) and a few heads that are turned too far (lots of eye whites).

    The girls came up with an EXCELLENT pose for #3 and I think my *best* of the lot is #2 and #4..... 3 woulda' been KILLER if it weren't for the other issues - That little girl up front just eats up the camera! thumb.gif

    Nicely done! I agree though that the bg is a bit distracting.
