    I like the first one a lot. It's the type of shot where lens flare actually adds to the flavor of the picture.

    Thanks for the comments! I think that's the best flare shot I've gotten. The angle was just right at that moment. Later, I tried to replicate but could not get the right sun angle/subject relationship. Truly a "one-of-a-kind moment" type of capture.

    Hi Erich,
    I too like #1 best for many of the reasons already mentioned. I spent many years running around the high desert before it got so crowded. This shot reminds me why I liked it so muchthumb.gif.
