hello:I am in the beggining stages of my portrait studioi have a mainlight to the left of the subject and a fill light near the camera.when the subject faces the mainlight there are two cachelights in each eye.when the subject faces the fill light there is one cachelight in each eye.any suggestions? thanks yooperdooper

    are you asking why there is only 1 catchlight vs 2 in your scenario? it simply a matter of incident light vs reflected light. When your subject has turned towards teh fill light, apparantly the rotation is such that the main light does reach the eyes in manner that it reflect back at the camera.

    Turn less if you want to see both lights I imagine
