I definitely prefer the first one Ginger. Spot on you are with this photograph. Nice curve from the water in the green, and finished off with this white bird in it. Great job. You sure live in a beautiful area

That is a wonderful shot, in my style, Ben. Of course, my style is somewhat dictated by lens length,rolleyes1.gif .

    Thanks for thinking of me.

I saw a wonderful bird shot in a book, taken with a wide angle, so I would like to try that, kind of as a personal challenge.

It killed me, but I HAD to put my wide on for awhile yesterday. I was hoping to get curves for the challenge, I wanted to show the "big picture", too.
Those photos above, mine, I am sure they were taken with my 17-40mm lens. I was so afraid that a snowy would come along and I would miss it. That didn't happen.

ginger (I was wrong, that was on the wide end of the 70-200mm L lens from Canon............I have hated that lens, but I am getting some good shots with it, can't get rid of it: ever.) I have worked up some wide shots, mostly w/o birds, though. I was trying to get curves. I should do it again at high tide.rolleyes1.gif . (I am so chaffed I can barely walk to the next room)

doG, I knew I would learn of a good use for that yeast based drink sometime.

I can give all of the birds a stomach ache. I really do need them closer. That walk is killing me. One of us will have to resort to beer, the birds or me, I mean.......if I keep this up.1drink.gif
