The life of an electronic flash is partly related to how it is used, so there is no real measure of longevity.

If you consistently use the flash at reduced power, allow plenty of time for cooling and don't subject it to physical stress or excess moisture, it should last a very long time indeed. (Decades even.)

If you use the flash at full output constantly, and need rapid fire with no cool down, and constantly move the head position, and subject it to high temperatures and high humidity, there is an excellent chance that it will not last long at all.

I have some electronic flash units that still work after 30+ years. I had a Rollei E36-RE flash that didn't last 15 years. (That was a "very" high-end unit, but it failed in high-humidity.)
